Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiatrist to join a leading healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with a wide range of physical impairments, focusing on rehabilitation, pain management, and improving overall function. Key Responsibilities:



Diagnose and manage a wide range of physical disabilities and conditions, including musculoskeletal issues, chronic pain, and neurological disorders.



Develop individualized treatment plans that may include physical therapy, therapeutic exercises, medications, and non-surgical interventions.



Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.



Perform procedures such as injections, electrodiagnostic, and other therapeutic interventions.



Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.



Educate patients and families about their conditions and the rehabilitation process.



Job Qualifications:



Medical Degree (MD or DO): Graduation from an accredited medical school.



Board Certification/Eligibility: Board certified or board eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).



State Medical License: Must hold or be eligible to obtain an active medical license in the state of practice.



Residency Training: Successful completion of an accredited residency program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.



DEA Certification: Possession of a valid DEA registration or the ability to obtain one.



Preferred Qualifications:



Experience in a physiatry setting, with a focus on rehabilitation, pain management, or musculoskeletal care.



Strong clinical skills in non-surgical treatment options, such as injections, electrodiagnostic, and therapeutic exercises.



Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.



Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
