Job Title: Procurement Specialist II

Job Location: Atlanta, GA 30309 (Hybrid, 2 Days onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

Estimated Assignment Length: 6 Months

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join their team in a contract role. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to strategic procurement initiatives and manage complex vendor relationships within a dynamic financial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end procurement processes for complex goods and services.

Prepare and analyze RFPs, RFQs, and bid documentation.

Negotiate contract terms and conditions to achieve favorable outcomes.

Develop contract requirements and maintain strong vendor relationships.

Provide analytical support and track contract spending to ensure budget compliance.

Ensure adherence to procurement guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

5-8 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with e-Sourcing applications.

Preferred experience with SAP Ariba or similar procurement software.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
