Position Overview



Were seeking a Commission-Based Legal Recruiter on a flat-fee model to serve as a 1099 contractor, partnering closely with the Hunt Hive Talent team and other external recruiters. In this role, youll source and place high-caliber legal professionals from associates and partners to in-house counsel earning a fixed commission for each successful placement. This flexible opportunity allows for remote work and the support of Hunt Hive Talents resources, brand reputation, and established client relationships.



Key Responsibilities



Legal Candidate Sourcing



Identify and engage top attorneys, paralegals, and legal professionals through multiple channels (online platforms, referrals, legal networks).



Build and maintain a robust pipeline of candidates for a variety of legal roles, including law firm and in-house positions.



Collaboration & Coordination



Work closely with Hunt Hive Talents internal staff and fellow recruiters to match candidates with current legal openings.



Manage candidate submissions, interview scheduling, and follow-ups in an organized, timely manner.



Relationship Management



Guide legal candidates through the recruitment process, providing transparent communication and ensuring a positive experience.



Maintain clear communication among candidates, law firms, and corporate legal departments.



Market Insights



Stay informed about the legal hiring landscape, including salary trends, market demands, and emerging practice areas.



Offer data-backed insights to refine Hunt Hive Talents approach to legal recruiting and client engagement.



Placement Outcomes & Flat-Fee Compensation



Track each candidate progress through interviews and onboarding, ensuring accurate documentation.



Earn a flat-fee commission for each successful placement paid on a per-hire basis.



Qualifications



Experience: Minimum 2 years in legal recruiting, talent acquisition, or a related field. Background placing attorneys, paralegals, or other legal professionals is strongly preferred.



Network: Proven ability to source niche or specialized talent within the legal sector (e.g., litigation, corporate, IP, etc.) or a well-established candidate network.



Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication; adept at relationship-building with attorneys and senior stakeholders.



Teamwork: Comfortable partnering with both Hunt Hive Talents internal recruiters and external collaborators to meet hiring goals.



Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, CRM platforms, and professional networks (LinkedIn, legal job boards, bar association resources).



Flexibility: Self-directed, able to prioritize effectively, and manage a remote workload across multiple candidate pipelines.



Drive to Succeed: Motivated by making successful placements, meeting targets, and benefiting from a flat-fee compensation model.
