Lead Editor - Faith-Based Marketing & Communications

Location: Remote

Direct Hire/Permanent Position

Position Overview:

Join a dynamic marketing team as Lead Editor, where youll guide a talented writing team in creating compelling content that drives meaningful social impact. This remote position offers the opportunity to combine creative storytelling with purpose-driven work.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of writers while maintaining editorial excellence

Drive content strategy and ensure alignment with organizations mission and voice

Edit and create compelling fundraising and marketing materials

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on campaign development

Oversee quality control for all written communications

Manage editorial calendars and project timelines

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field

10+ years of experience in lead editor role and marketing/fundraising copywriting

Strong understanding of Catholic teachings and values

Expert-level AP style proficiency

Proven track record in fundraising and marketing campaigns

Advanced Microsoft Office Suite, Dropbox, and SharePoint skills
