Willo Education are working closely with a large Primary School in the Hodge Hill area are seeking two experienced, dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant’s on a full time and long term basis.

In the mornings you will be working closely with Children in Year 1 and Year 2 who have autism keeping them engaged with their lessons and and providing any additional support the children might need to help with their learning and development. In the afternoons you will be working 1:1 with two little girls. The little girls, who have autism and downs syndrome can be challenging and are looking for someone who has patience, is experienced and will be able to help them engage in their learning, personal care may also be needed. This is a rewarding opportunity to be able to create such a positive impact on young children’s lives regardless of their differences and abilities in life. This position is long term and full time with the view to move through the key stages with the children.

About you –

We are looking for someone who:

* Is patient, empathetic and committed to supporting children who have SEN.

* Has excellent communication skills.

* Can remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing needs.

* Is willing to give personal care, if needed.

* Has experience working 1:1 with children who have SEN.

To apply –

You will need:

* Right to work in the UK.

* 2 sufficient references.

* Level 2 or 3 in childcare or equivalent to.

* Up to date DBS (preferably on the update system or willingness to apply for a new one).

* Proof of previous work history.

* Have been employed directly by a school in previous roles
