Hours of the HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician / PSV Mechanic / Truck Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / Fleet Maintenance Engineer / LGV Technician: Split Shifts on weekly rotation
week 1) 06:00am - 15:30pm
week 2) 12:30pm - 22:00pm

Salary of the HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician / PSV Mechanic / Truck Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / Fleet Maintenance Engineer: Approx £47,000.00pa (£18.00 - £20.00ph dependent on experience) plus overtime

My client, one of UK's largest Commercial Main dealers, is looking for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician / PSV Mechanic / Truck Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / Fleet Maintenance Engineer to join their busy and thriving site on the split shifts in Leicester.

Main Duties and Responsibilities for the HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician / PSV Mechanic / Truck Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / Fleet Maintenance Engineer:

●Carry out routine inspections maintenance service and repairs on franchised and non-franchised vehicles including trailers to industry standard
●Carry out a wide range of defect repairs.
●Fault diagnosis and rectification using the manufacturer’s computer system and tooling.
●Complete job cards and service sheets using online systems correctly and in line with warranty protocol.

The HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician / PSV Mechanic / Truck Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / Fleet Maintenance Engineer should have:

●At least 3 years of experience within a similar role.
● NVQ L3 or similar.
●HGV licence desired.
