Maintenance Engineer

Bradford

Our client, a manufacturing business based in Bradford, have an immediate requirement to recruit a well versed electrical maintenance engineer.

Main responsibilities include:

* Putting Safety First – Operating safe working practices within the work environment.

* Ensuring regulatory compliance of equipment and facilities.

* Undertake any maintenance operations at site.

* Assure information required for the Engineering Management System is in putted correctly.

* Conducting electrical diagnostic and fault-finding activities.

* Responding to equipment breakdowns and resolving related issues.

Ideal candidates for this role will apprentice trained Electrical Engineers ( NVQ level 3 or equiverlant) and ideally have a 17th / 18th Edition elec regs certificate.

This role would suit someone who is organised, self-motivated, a team-player, conscientious and has a ‘can-do’ attitude.

Must be capable of good communication and cooperation with colleagues and other stakeholders.

Any previous experience working with overhead cranes/hoists would be beneficial.

This role will cover both facilities maintenance as well as production equipment.

This is a permanent role where you will be expected to work a 8am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 2pm on a Friday.

In return you can expect a base salary of £35k, plus bonus paid twice a year. There is overtime to available and a on-call rota to boost salary.
