New role available for an aspiring Assistant Building Surveyor looking to elevate their career with an industry-leading Building Surveying team in Manchester.

Join one of the city's top Building Surveying & Project Management teams, known for their extensive experience and diverse project portfolio. You will have the chance to contribute to high-profile, multi-million-pound commercial projects that span a wide variety of sectors, including new-build residential, office fit-outs, and industrial developments.

Ideally you will be degree qualifed in Building Surveying already with some post degree experience looking for that next step up.

If you like the idea joining a supportive, dynamic team who all support each other to deliver the best service possible, this could certainly be a role for you. Full APC support will be offer as well as a clear progressive route for your career with them which I've seen mutiple surveyors now achieve at this very practice becoming MRICS and now leading on some very impressive projects.

Duties:

Building Surveys & Site Inspections: Conduct detailed building surveys, site inspections, and measured surveys to support project delivery.
CAD Drafting & Design: Create precise drawings, including plans, sections, and elevations, using CAD software.
Preparation of Reports & Specifications: Draft comprehensive schedules of work, technical specifications, and feasibility reports for various maintenance and construction projects.
Project & Contract Management: Assist in the management of sub-consultants, contractors, and suppliers while supporting the contract administration process under NEC3 and JCT frameworks.
Condition & Asset Management: Support senior surveyors with condition surveys, asset management assessments, and Party Wall services.
Budget & Cost Monitoring: Assist with compiling project costs and ensure that projects remain on budget, tracking financial progress against approved plans.To discuss all my relevant roles in complete confidence please call Rob Hayton at Calibre Search
