The Company
A leading engineering company is looking for a Design Engineer to join the dynamic, fast-paced design team.

The Role
To provide design engineering know-how regarding product design and development, utilizing appropriate and up-to-date software to enhance product data.
Working as part of the Design and Engineering team to provide and develop high–quality, new and existing products.
Responsible for implementing changes to technical product documentation as requested by various departments, under the direction of the senior design team.
Provide support to the design team in the production of new technical product documentation for standard products and special products prior to issue.
Development/product build and test to ensure function and reliability of new design specifications.
Develop and grow knowledge and skills from the technical and engineering teams.
Ensure compliance with company rules and all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements.

The Candidate
Holds an engineering qualifications
Design engineering experience with knowledge of manufacturing.
Experience with designing products from scratch
SolidWorks experience
Able to work on projects

Salary
The salary offered for this position is £28,000- £35,000 plus bonus depending on whether a candidate can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
