Our client, a dynamic and fast-growing manufacturing company located near Newton Aycliffe, is searching for a talented Machine Setter to become an integral part of their team. With year-on-year growth and a commitment to excellence, this is your chance to be part of something big.

Salary: £30,000

Hours: Monday – Friday 7am – 3pm

Duties

* Follow guidance from Engineering and Production Supervisors for daily operations.

* Champion health and safety, promoting the site SHE plan and safety principles.

* Minimise downtime by prioritising changeovers and resolving machine issues promptly.

* Perform basic and advanced maintenance to optimise equipment efficiency.

* Manage change parts, tooling, printers, and consumable spares.

* Set up and maintain machines, ensuring smooth production and quality output.

* Oversee line operations, complete required paperwork, and support trials.

What You’ll Need:

* Previous experience as a Machine Setter is essential.

* Proven ability to fix basic faults on machinery.

* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintaining equipment.
