Data Centre Shift Leader – Croydon – 56k + Package

Shift Pattern: Continental Shift Pattern (Days & Nights)

We are looking for a Data Centre Shift Leader to join a leading engineering company for a Critical isle of their’ s in Croydon. If you have previous experience in critical sites, ideally within a Data Centre, and possess strong knowledge of HV/LV systems, this could be the perfect opportunity for you

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and supervise a team of engineers across a 24/7 Data Centre operation.

* Ensure the smooth operation of all critical infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.

* Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM), emergency response, and reactive maintenance.

* Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently to minimise downtime.

* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and best practices.

* Maintain accurate records of all work carried out and produce reports as required.

* Ensure that the data centre operates at maximum efficiency with minimal risk to service delivery.

Ideal Candidate:

* Previous experience working in a critical site environment, ideally within a Data Centre.

* Strong understanding of HV/LV systems (preferred but not essential).

* Ability to manage and lead a team in a high-pressure environment.

* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

* Strong knowledge of health and safety practices and compliance.

* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
