My client is a well known manufacturing business based in the Wakefield area and is looking to secure the services of a talented Assistant Accountant to cover a period of maternity leave.

Duties will include:

* Supporting the Finance Manager in the preparation and maintenance of financial report during month end

* Processing large volume of purchasing invoices

* Raising Sales invoices through Manufacturing and Sage system.

* Solving both purchase and sales ledger’s queries

* Preparation of monthly payroll and submitting document to Payroll Bureau

* Accruals for stock and other expenses and prepayments

To be successful in this role the following will be a distinct advantage:

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Strong IT skills, including experience with sage and CRM systems.
