About the Role:
TeamJobs are seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Support Engineer to join our client's team. In this role, you'll oversee production lines, maintain equipment, and ensure product quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll also play a key role in automating manual processes and mentoring apprentices.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and set up production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
Solve production issues and collaborate to implement solutions.
Enhance manufacturing equipment with automation, including PLC programming and robotics (experience preferred).
Support and develop engineering apprentices.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.Hours: 08:30-17:00

What We're Looking For:

Degree or qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant engineering field.
10+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in maintenance or production support.
Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a hands-on approach.
Knowledge of quality systems and planned maintenance schedules.
Flexible attitude, willing to work extra hours when needed.
Experience with PLC automation, robotics, and ultrasonic welding (preferred).Benefits
