About the Role

As a Maths Tutor, you will:

Deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to small groups and individuals.
Support students in developing their understanding and confidence in maths.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to identify learning gaps and tailor support accordingly.
Assist with exam preparation and coursework guidance.
Provide constructive feedback to help students track their progress.

Requirements

To excel as a Maths Tutor, you should:

Hold a degree in Mathematics or a related field.
Have experience tutoring or teaching maths at the secondary school level.
Be passionate about supporting student development and academic progress.
Possess strong communication and organisational skills.
Be adaptable, patient, and dedicated to making a difference in education.
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that the successful applicant must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
