Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: DE13
Contract: Full-time
Salary: Up to £115 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Are you a qualified and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students with additional needs? A welcoming and inclusive school in the DE13 area is looking for a dedicated SEN TA to join their team on a full-time basis. Youll be working with a young pupil with ASD. The work is prodominently relationship building and play based.

The Role

Providing tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Working closely with teachers to deliver differentiated learning plans.
Building positive relationships with pupils, encouraging confidence and independence.
Supporting students in both one-on-one and group settings as needed.
Contributing to the development and implementation of EHCPs and behaviour plans.

What We're Looking For

Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent).
Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Patience, empathy, and adaptability.
A proactive approach to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
