Description

Are you an experienced Automation and Control Engineer looking for a new challenge? This role is perfect for engineers who thrive on the challenge of creating and implementing intricate automation, mechatronic, and data acquisition systems across various industries.

Salary circa £45,000 per annum depending upon experience plus benefits package.

As Automation and Control Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

Designing and implementing customised automation and control processes using internal software and customer specifications.
Developing C# control software and interfacing with third-party equipment for seamless integration.
Analysing engineering systems and providing automation recommendations.
Creating test procedures, diagnosing faults, and ensuring system functionality meets customer requirements.
Conducting site visits for installation, testing, and documentation purposes.

To be successful in the position of Automation and Control Engineer you will possess the following skills and experience:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in electrical, mechanical, robotics, mechatronics, or automation engineering.
Proven experience in hardware-based automation.
Proficiency in C# and Visual Studio.
Strong understanding of automation hardware and protocols.
Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally as needed.
Valid UK driver's license.

This position is based in Malvern and is easily commutable from Worcester, Ledbury, Tewkesbury, Leominster, Bromyard, Cheltenham and Evesham.
