MRP Controller (Planning Manager)
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Are you a hands-on planner with a passion for data, systems, and operational excellence? W Talent is proud to be partnering with a thriving manufacturer in Scunthorpe to find and MRP Controller who will play a key role in their innovative solutions for the medical and consumer goods industries.

This brand-new position of MRP Controller has been created to enhance production and material planning during an exciting phase of growth and change. You'll take full ownership of planning, ensuring alignment between sales forecasts, production schedules, and material supply.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning: Create and manage production schedules for multiple machines, handling frequent retooling for diverse product lines
Material Planning: Align raw material supplies with production needs, managing 2-3 week rolling forecasts
Data Management: Use your Excel expertise to refine processes and make data-driven operational decisions
ERP Integration: Contribute to the implementation and optimisation of a new SAP ERP system to enhance planning efficiency
Forecast Conversion: Transform sales forecasts into actionable, efficient production runs
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements across planning and operationsIdeal Candidate:

Proven experience of both Production and Materials Planning within a high volume manufacturing environment is essential
Experience of implementing an ERP system and advanced Excel skills are essential; SAP experience is a strong advantage
Naturally curious when it comes to processes and systems, with a drive to solve problems and improve operations
