Rapier Employment are working with a well-established, family run national haulier in Witney. They are looking for a Class 1 driver on night shift.

** Guaranteed work up to end of February with potential to extend. This will suit a driver who is looking for work during a well know quiet period at the start of the new year **

Job role: Class 1 driver
Pay rate: £16.00 per hour (06:00-20:00) - £17.50 per hour (20:00-06:00)
Shift start: Start times vary between 17:00-19:00
Working days: Monday-Friday

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, record information internally and report any defects
Ensuring the load is fully strapped down ready to be delivered
Delivering the product to customer sites ensuring delivery instructions are followed
Hauling palletised flat-packed goods to various locations across the UK
Requirements:

Full UK Licence (Cat C+E)
CPC Card
Digi Card
12 months Class 1 experience
No more than 9 points on your licence
** Must have at least 12 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience, along with no more than 9 points on your licence. **
