IMMEDIATE 7.5T HOME DELIVERY DRIVERS REQUIRED

Our client is a leading home furnishing brand the 7.5t Driver role will involve furniture removal work, some heavy lifting will be involved but you will have a drivers mate on hand to help.

As a 7.5t driver you will be required to deliver furniture and other household products to customers across London and the surrounding South East areas.

Good customer service skills are essential as you will be working in customers’ homes delivering and installing furniture with regular feedback encouraged on drivers and porters from all customers. It should be noted that due to products being large and bulky items of furniture, you should be able to lift items of varying weights as part of a 2-person team.

Standard 7.5t driving hours are Monday – Friday 06am start, although some flexibility with these hours is required. There is also the occasional work every other Saturday.

Parking is available on site. The pay rate for this 7.5t driver role is £15 per hour PAYE, long term temp to perm work.

To be successful in this 7.5t driving role we require you to have the following qualifications, skills and experience :

* A valid UK 7.5T Driving Licence

* Previous commercial driving experience in a 7.5t Vehicle

* Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items of furniture with manual handling experience

* Desirable experience of using a PDA

* Preferable experience of doing 'home' deliveries

* Able to work well with others, having good communication skills and work as part of a team

* Organised and able to manage your workload and associated paperwork

* Keen to learn about our products and be able to explain product information and answer any customer questions on site
