Multi-Skilled Engineer

Location: Greater Manchester 
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (Depending on Experience)
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days)

My client a large FMCG Manufacturer is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their team in the Manchester area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment, offering a competitive salary and excellent development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance and repair of vacuum systems, palletisers, and conveyor systems.
Fault-finding and diagnostics on PLC systems.
Ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency across operations.
Supporting continuous improvement projects and process enhancements.
Adhering to all health and safety protocols and regulations.
About You:

Apprentice trained/HNC/HND/Btec in a relevant discipline.
Strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills, ideal split 60 electrical / 40 mechanical.
Knowledge and experience in FMCG environments (desirable).
Familiarity with PLC systems and the ability to fault-find.
Proactive, reliable, and a team player.
