The Role

We are seeking an outstanding individual to join our night shift cleaning team as the Night Shift Train Cleaning Team Leader, based at Carlisle Station. In this role, you will be part of the night shift cleaning team, ensuring that every passenger's journey is clean and comfortable. The night shift team is crucial in maintaining a high service standards, and as the team leader, you will be responsible for supervising and guiding the team to achieve the highest cleanliness standards during your shift. Your role will be essential in overseeing the night shift cleaning team's efforts to efficiently complete their cleaning tasks and deliver top-quality results. Your role will be essential in ensuring the team completes task with efficiently whilst maintaining a high standard.

The roster plan covers the of working 20:00pm – 06:00am, working a shift pattern of 5 on 4 off or 4 on 5 off.

Full flexibility to work on the week is required with overtime often available at managements discretion.

Pay Rate & Benefits

The pay rate for the Night Shift Train Cleaning Team Leader position at Carlisle Station will be at £14.80 per hour on an initial 6-month basis.

About You

If this role as a Night Shift Train Cleaning Team Leader has caught your interest, here is what you need to be considered:

Ideally, you will be experienced within a vehicle/industrial or house cleaning environment. Having been in a similar team leader role in a previous job will also be welcomed. Strong leadership and good communication are vital is this role as you will be overseeing a variety of individuals to achieve set targets.

You will have a keen eye for detail and take pride in delivering a clean and safe environment clean for customers.

Training is provided covering depot protection, site safety and cleaning solutions. Work is undertaken in a safety critical environment so you will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screening.
