Tutor based in Widnes, Halton

Remedy Education are looking for a tutors to work 1:1 with a student with Year 6 students who have been excluded from school, helping them with their core subjects. You will be paid anywhere between £25.00 to £35.00 per hour to plan and deliver each tutoring session

To be a Tutor you will need:

QTS/PGCE
at least 2 years' experience teaching and assessing in primary/secondary schools
experience working with SEN special educational needs such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, ADD.
a proven record of being able to heighten pupil's confidence, self-esteem and love of learning
100% passion for education, commitment, reliability and honesty
to creatively apply differentiated techniques to planning and teaching
excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills
incredible patience
an excellent knowledge of different learning styles and how to use these
the ability to deal with possible behaviour issues
the ability to work flexibly and attend meetings outside hours if necessary
to be a team-worker
