Customer Service Planner
 
Salary: £23,143
Based: Lincoln
Hours: 37 hours per week, with shifts between Monday and Sunday, including bank holidays, on a rota basis. Operating hours are between 7am and 9.30pm.
Basis: Temporary, with the opportunity to become Permanent.
 
At the core of this role, you will be assisting in the delivery of a business-critical service to ensure that both planned and reactive work is scheduled to meet business performance targets. You will take ownership of daily work schedules, prioritise tasks, and deploy resources effectively while maintaining clear communication, both internally and externally.
 
The ideal candidate will be well-organised, possess strong administrative and communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to exceptional customer service. If you thrive in a team-oriented environment and are ready to make an impact, this role may be perfect for you.
 
Initially, the role will be fully office based, with the opportunity for a hybrid working pattern following a probationary period, which may last 5 – 6 months.
 
Responsibilities as a Customer Service Planner:

Take ownership of todays and tomorrows work schedules, to ensure that all work is completed within the agreed timescale  
Prioritise and deploy reactive work according to priority matrix to field resources via telephone, complying with health and safety guidelines. Ensuring resource has the availability to complete the work and remove any work that cannot be completed as a result  
Escalating to relevant teams where high priority work cannot be deployed 
Contacting both internal and external customers, to keep them informed and realign expectation
Maintain up to date and accurate records on the system relating to work activities  
Key Skills Required as a Customer Service Planner:

Well organised with excellent administration skills
Teamwork and willingness to help others
Good communication skills at all levels with both internal & external customers
Ability to work within a team whilst owning your own workload
Prioritisation and decision-making skills
The drive and ambition to provide exceptional customer service
