Internal Sales Coordinator

St Albans

Up to £29,000 + Bonus

Monday - Friday 08:30am - 17:30pm

If you are confident in maximising business through nurturing client relationships and you have account management or sales experience this may be the role for you!

Our client is an established freight forwarding company who have been operating for over 70+ years and deal with a wide range of industry sectors. The company have 8 sites in the UK and are showing continued growth.

The ideal candidate for this role will have internal sales experience in any industry wanting to move into logistics.

Main Duties:

Maximising business potential through management and development of existing customer accounts
Calculating Air, road and ocean quotations.
To Generate and follow up on sales leads
Working collaboratively with the operations team
Staying up to date with market developments and competitors
Negotiating the best prices with suppliers
Creating KPI reports

Requirements:

Strong customer service skills
Multi-modal freight operations experience (Desirable)
Export sales experience
