Salary: CompetitiveReed Food & FMCG have been briefed by an excellent Food Manufacturing business as they seek to find a Continuous Improvement Manager. This role is designed for a proactive leader who can train and develop our teams into Continuous Improvement (CI) thinkers, enhancing efficiency and quality across all departments.

Day-to-day of the role:

Develop, implement, and manage a continuous improvement program across all manufacturing teams, focusing on sustainable improvements from quick wins to long-term excellence.
Provide training and support to the front-line management team, helping them address medium to long-term issues through root cause analysis and resolution.
Work hands-on with various teams to identify and solve potential issues in the manufacturing process, ensuring stability and consistency.
Drive a performance culture by motivating staff and aligning their efforts towards business excellence.
Utilize modern world-class improvement tools, techniques, and thinking to challenge existing practices and drive change.
Maintain project tracking systems, ensuring timely updates and reports are available for business insights.
Ensure all manufacturing processes adhere to food safety, authenticity, legality, and quality standards.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Significant experience applying LEAN methodology in a FMCG production environment.
Proven track record in influencing and developing large, diverse teams.
Lean, Six Sigma certification preferred.
Strong digital proficiency and experience with Lean manufacturing tools such as Standard Work, 5S, SMED, RCA, FMEA, DMAIC, and VSM.
Excellent leadership, supervisory, and coaching skills.
Ability to plan, organise, and monitor performance against deadlines and milestones.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Benefits:
