Job Title: Engineering Team Leader
Location: Stowmarket, Suffolk
Salary: £52,000 - £57,000 per year
Panama Shifts (Day & Night)
Full-Time, Permanent

Compass Point Recruitment is seeking a professional Engineering Team Leader to manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and departmental targets are met. The role includes overseeing proactive and reactive maintenance, leading a team of skilled engineers, and driving a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of engineers to deliver high-quality maintenance services.
Plan and schedule maintenance using CMMS (AGILITY).
Monitor team performance, identify improvements, and ensure safety and compliance.
Manage contractors and ensure engineering standards are met.
Provide training and support to enhance team performance and development.
Oversee engineering projects, including equipment overhauls and process improvements.
Ensure accurate record-keeping and inventory management.
Key Skills & Experience:

Qualified in an Engineering Discipline (Level 3).
Proven experience in electrical and mechanical engineering.
Previous experience in a similar role (FMCG experience is advantageous).
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient with CMMS and scheduling tools.
