Senior Transport Planner - Basildon - Up to £40,000

A global multisite logistics company are looking for a Transport Planner to join their team in Basildon.

As Transport Planner, you will be working with a team of Planners coordinating multi drop vehicles including pallet network. Working with subcontractors routing vehicles and containers UK wide. You will be planning a high number of containers throughout the week.

Full time:

Monday to Friday - 12:00 - 20:30
Bonus plan

Responsibilities:

Assist the manager with the smooth running of the transport team
Optimize planning for multi-stop collection & delivery routes within legal requirements.
Monitoring driver performance.
Assist with driver booking.
Booking with 3rd party hauliers.

Requirements:

Managers CPC is Essential
Multi drop experience required
Excellent geographical knowledge
2 Years' experience as a Transport Planner
Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain
