Description

My Client is looking for a Controls Engineer with experience in designing manufacturing engineering systems.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer with strong electrical bias to start a career within a well known organization, and have a fresh start in 2025!

Responsibilities

Detailed design of control/electrical systems including selection of equipment, generation of schematics, cable schedules & electrical calculations.
Electrical control panel layout / design.
AutoCAD and Possibly Solid Works as a design/drafting tool.
Selection and configuration of process instrumentation, sensors, weighing systems etc.
Development and Programming various manufacturers PLC's, HMI's and SCADA.
Produce project related documentation using various IT package including Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.
Direct involvement in control panel design, build and testing.
On-site commissioning of Electrical, Control and Instrumentation systems
Involvement in the budgeting and estimation process
Assist in the CE Marking assessment using Laidler/Sistema Software and produce supporting documentation.
Functional Safety system design to include interlocks / guarding / trip systems
Design of systems compliant with ATEX Regulations - COMPEX certified
