We are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established, leading transport company based in Felixstowe who are currently seeking a Trainee Freight Forwarder to join their successful team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Look after day-to-day haulage operations.

* Responsible for sending bookings.

* Build strong working relationships with clients and suppliers.

* Negotiating costs.

* Transport planning across the UK and Northern Ireland.

* Become knowledgeable in the UK haulage market. i.e. trailer types used, pricing and locations across the UK.

Previous Skills & Experience:

* Excellent communication skills, strong phone manner and customer service.

* Willingness to learn and grow within the logistics industry.

* Enthusiastic attitude to be welcomed into a fast-paced operations environment.

* Self-motivated and goal oriented
