Mechanic (HGV / Plant / Fitter)

Bradford

£40,000 to £65,000 (Flexible DOE) + Holidays + Contributory Pension + Company Events + On Site Parking

Monday to Friday 07:00 to 17:00

HGV / Plant Mechanic required for a leading company based in Bradford who specialise in construction, drainage and fuelling sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to play an integral role within a growing company.

Candidates will be an experienced mechanic from a heavy machinery background. This will suit candidates with experience working on HGVs, plant equipment, or similar. You will need to hold a relevant qualification.

The successful candidate will be joining a small workshop-based team performing regular maintenance on a range of machinery and equipment. This will involve working HGVs, transits, and plant equipment such as excavators and diggers.

The Mechanic Role:

Workshop based
Working on a range of plant equipment and HGVs
Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
Welding components for repair
The Mechanic Candidate:

Mechanical background with electrical knowledge
Experience with HGVs, plant equipment, or similar
Hold a relevant qualification
