Description

We are recruiting for an experienced Installation Manager to oversee the installation of fire and security doors at Stanstead Airport. This role involves managing a team of installers and subcontractors, conducting site surveys, ensuring compliance with safety and fire regulations, and carrying out risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

* Team & Subcontractor Management: Lead and supervise installation teams, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety standards.

* Project Coordination: Manage logistics, ensure timely delivery of materials and deliveries, and monitor progress on-site.

* Surveying & Risk Assessments: Conduct site surveys, perform risk assessments, and implement safety measures.

* Quality Control: Ensure installations meet safety standards and project specifications.

* Health & Safety: Enforce strict safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections.

* Client & Stakeholder Communication: Act as the point of contact for clients, providing project updates and resolving issues.

* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of schedules, inspections, and progress reports.

The successful candidate will have:

* Proven experience in fire door installation, particularly in commercial settings

* Strong leadership and team management skills.

* Solid understanding of fire door systems and building safety regulations.

* Experience with risk assessments, site surveys, and safety compliance.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A Valid CSCS & SMSTS card is essential.
