Mechanical Operations Supervisor Bristol

A successful engineering company are seeking an Operations Supervisor to run their new workshop based out of Bristol.

As Supervisor you will deal with internal and external stake holders and lead and motivate the team in the workshop to delivery against jobs that are allocated.

You will be involved in;

* Providing leadership for the operations while assisting in the day to day asset management of the depot

* Implementing and reviewing operational policies and procedures through verbal and written communications

* Drive team members to encourage top performance, productivity and morale

* Continuous monitoring of hire enquiries and ensuring availability of equipment required.

* You’ll be able to resolve customer queries in a timely manner

* Involved in repair and maintenance of pumps and various pumping equipment

You will have;

* A solid mechanical engineering background working on Pumps, Generators, Motors, Compressors or similar type heavy equipment

* Able to lead and motivate a small team

* Good IT literacy in MS Office suite and able to learn/train on company software

* Strong Planning and organisational skills

* Good problem solving skills

* You must hold a Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.

The role will predominantly be workshop based but there will be some requirement to travel to customer sites in the South West area. The role is Monday to Friday (40 Hours) and there is opportunity for overtime paid at x1.5 or x2. Salary offered is £40,000 – 45,000 plus 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, opportunity for ongoing training and development. Company Van and Fuel card
