Senior Quantity Surveyor – Ministry of Defence

This leading main contractor has an immediate need for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work within an established MOD Government projects division. The role will be to work on a freelance contract basis for a minimum period of 6 months and is likely to lead to a permanent salaried position.

This position has good flexibility being a hybrid role of which you will manage your working week between the office in Surrey, projects you are involved with and home. All the current projects for this Senior Quantity Surveyor position are along the M3 corridor down from London to Southampton.

The ideal candidate for this leading main contractor would be familiar with MOD government projects however, not essential. A good knowledge of the NEC contract is essential for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role, and you will also need a wide range of project experience with various refurbishment, new build and fitout projects. You will have a UK Quantity Surveying qualification and must live within a reasonable commute to Surrey and the projects. This company will not offer sponsorship, and you must have a right to work in the UK.
