European Export Freight Operator

We are currently recruiting for our Felixstowe based client for a Export Freight Operator who will be responsible for managing client accounts and co-ordinating the suppliers, documentation and schedules for their trailer shipments between the UK & EU.

Experience:
· Experience working in a fast-paced environment
· Experience in a logistics or transport role
· Can do attitude with excellent attention to detail
· Excellent MS Office skills
· Excellent teamwork & communication skills
· Knowledge of Europe and/or additional language an advantage

Responsibilities:
· Responsible for UK export collection & deliveries for Europe
· Key account management & client spot business
· Onboarding and building relationships with new suppliers
· Liaising with the customs team
· Liaising with EU consignees & EU customs
· Pricing and negotiation of freight rates
· Ensuring collection & delivery KPIs attained
· Ensuring documentation is ready for shipments in a timely manner
· Generating reports relating to all export and customs activity
· Meet customer expectations to ensure excellent customer service
· Identify opportunities to upsell additional services to existing clients
· Assist in delivery of other business objectives as required
