CAD Designer - Cartonboard Packaging

Cheshire East

Salary- DOE

Hours - 9-5PM (30 min lunch)

25 days holiday / Pension Scheme / Free onsite parking

Company-

Established over 100 years ago, experience working across all market sectors including pharmaceutical, healthcare, personal care, veterinary, automotive, food, beverage and gifting packaging they're a supplier of short-run printed folding carton.

The role-

Supply packaging requirements from concept to completion. Using the latest CAD design software and cutting table you will work with our Sales Team and Customers to provide an innovative yet functional design for varied Pharmacutical and Cosmetic products.

Responsibilities-

Work with sales and clients to develop structural carton design. Produce technical reviews of Folding Box Board carton designs to ensure the best possible results are achieved within die-cutting, embossing, and gluing constraints.

Maintain quality, accuracy and consistency of designs whilst working to tight deadlines

Producing production ready profiles i.e. putting overlays on

Ensure production of quality customer samples, of the correct requirements, for presentation to our clients.

To support all members of the design team by communicating all work-related information in a timely and proper manner, to ensure an efficient working environment

Requirements-

Solid experience in CAD software (Artios CAD), Adobe CS and Microsoft Office

Solid experience in a structural packaging design environment

Preferably from the Cartonboard industry

Will consider someone from the corrugated packaging industry

Critical thinking/Problem solving

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Teamwork/Collaboration

Profession with an excellent work ethic
