Position: Electronics Design Engineer
Location: Manchester, UK
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

A successful electronics design and manufacturing company specialising in access control systems are looking for a skilled and motivated Electronic Design Engineer to join their team and support their exciting growth journey.

About the Role:
As an Electronic Design Engineer, you’ll design innovative hardware and embedded software, take projects from concept through to completion, and work with prestigious companies in the security, NHS and banking sector. This role offers excellent opportunities to progress into a senior position within a supportive and close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and test electronic circuits, PCB layouts, and embedded systems.

* Develop embedded software for Microchip PIC using embedded C.

* Build prototypes and lead hands-on development.

* Gain experience in PC software and app development.

* Collaborate with clients and carry out basic mechanical tasks when required.

Required Experience:

* Degree-qualified Electronic Engineer with expertise in embedded software.

* Experienced in analogue and digital electronics, with strong circuit design skills.

* Ambitious, proactive, and ready to play a key role in a growing family-run business.
