Role: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Hayes

Salary: Up to £48,000

Shifts : Monday to Friday (Double Days)

Benefits: Bonus + Healthcare + Training + Progression + Days Only + No Weekends

The Company:  

Our Client are a leading business within their market space that have been growing consistently over the last 10 years. Having a number of unique products manufactured at this site and having recently been taken over by a multi-billion pound global company, this is an exciting time to be joining the business as they show no signs of slowing down their growth.

Their order book has been rising consistently over the last few years and the machinery on site is all relatively new, making this an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a growing business working on some of the latest machines on the market. The business will also regularly offer training and refresher courses on the machines they have on site as well as sending you to local colleges for further training and development.

The Role:

The role of Maintenance Engineer will include the following responsibilities:

Working on all of the automated machinery including: Conveyors, Packaging Machinery, Sealers, Fillers.
Completing Pre Planned Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance
Making adjustments to the machines to ensure that they are running at optimum levels
Working alongside Reliability Engineers to increase Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE)
Coming up with CI ideas
Fault Finding Electrically, ensuring all safety procedures are followed, working in Control Panels, Diagnosing and replacing sensors, relays, contactors, invertors, three phase motors,
Mechanically replacing bearings, gearboxes, shafts, pneumatic systems, rollers, belts, pulleys, chains,
The Candidate:

The right Candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer will have/be the following:

A recognised Engineering Qualification
Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in a factory setting working on machines
Be able to work well within a multi-cultural team environment
Be confident working Electrically and Mechanically
Able to confidently work independently
