Site Manager | Barrow In Furness | £40,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance | Construction / M&E

We are actively recruiting for a Site Manager to be based on a high security, commercial premises located in Barrow-In-Furness, Cumbria.

We have a wide range of projects, from new build construction, extensions, various construction packages (groundworks, build, roofing, fit out etc), alongside various Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) installations, upgrades, replacements etc.

Your role will be to be on-site, supervising sub-contractors and works, reporting back into the Project Manager.

Package:

* £40,000 Basic Salary.

* £5,000 Car Allowance

* Location: Barrow in Furness - with some travel across the North West UK.

Duties:

* As the Site Manager, you will sit between the Project Manager and sub-contractors carrying out works.

* Over-seeing a variety of projects within commercial environments / across commercial systems. Including a wide variety of construction packages and M&E works.

* Ensuring compliance and health and safety is adhered to, ie: risk assessments, RAMS, issuing permits, reading remedial reports.

* Ensuring top quality workmanship and works are delivered on time with schedule.

Requirements:

* Must hold a trade qualification in a relevant field, ie: Construction, roofing, carpentry, plumbing, electrical etc.

* SSSTS or SMSTS highly desirable.

* Experience working within commercial environments is highly desirable.

* Must hold a UK driving license / be legally able to drive in the UK.

* Must be willing to travel within the North West of England as and when required
