Junior Accountant required. My client is a well-established firm of chartered accountants based in the Harlow area of Essex, and due to recent growth are seeking a Junior Accountant to join their welcoming and friendly team.

Junior Accountant Job Overview

Prepare sole traders and partnership accounts and tax returns
Rental and investment tax returns
Prepare VAT returns
General bookkeeping duties
Payroll for staff cover
Admin duties as and when they arrive

Suitable candidates will have previous experience in accountancy practice environments and will be AAT qualified/part-qualified.

Junior Accountant Job Requirements

Suitable candidates must be AAT qualified/part-qualified
Previous experience working in an accountancy practice
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well within a team

Junior Accountant Salary & Benefits

£25,000-£28,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
Study support provided
