About the Project:

We are excited to be working once again with one of the UK’s leading construction and infrastructure contractors on a multimillion-pound civil engineering project in Bridgwater. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Section Engineer to contribute to a high-profile scheme that includes sheet piling, heavy reinforced concrete (RC) structures, earthworks, and bunding.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for:

As-Built Drawings & Documentation: Oversee the preparation of as-built drawings and manage record-keeping systems to monitor project progress.
Technical Support & Setting Out: Provide engineering expertise on technical issues and take full responsibility for setting out all works accurately.
Quality Control: Manage the testing and recording of workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Verification of Setting Out Points: Regularly check all setting out points and ensure that the works are delivered with the required certification and in line with design and safety standards. What We Are Looking For: The ideal candidate will possess:

Experience in Sheet Piling or Marine Projects: Prior experience in these areas is highly desirable for this role.
A relevant Civil Engineering qualification (HNC, Degree, or equivalent).
Certifications: SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification are essential.
Experience working with a Tier One Contractor is preferable.
Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to solve technical issues on-site efficiently
