Behaviour Support Assistant (Entry-Level) – PRU
Location: Salford | 

Join our Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Salford, supporting students aged 11-16 with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.

About the Role:
Kickstart your education career! As an Entry-Level Behaviour Support Assistant, you'll work closely with students, helping them improve behavior, build confidence, and succeed in a supportive setting.

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and group support for behavior improvement.
Assist with behavior plans and classroom management.
De-escalate challenging situations.
Build strong, positive relationships with students.
Help develop students’ social and emotional skills.

Passion for helping students with challenging behaviors.
Resilience, patience, and adaptability.
Strong communication skills.
No qualifications required; interest in behavior management a plus.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
