Teaching Assistant - Chesterfield

Daily pay rate: £90-110 Per Day

Start date: ASAP

Location: Alternative provision – High Peak, UK.

About you: You are a confident teaching assistant, with experience of working with pupils who exhibit challenging behaviour and often become dysregulated. You are aware of how to contribute to the provision of a safe and supportive environment with the ability to work flexibly. You have a professional approach to work with your mental health currently in a positive place.

Your role will include (but not limited too):

To provide support and intervention to pupils, helping them to develop positive relationships with others.
You will be required to support pupils both on-site and off-site ( potentially including Duke of Edinburgh activities).
Support the delivery of the curriculum to ensure that pupils realise their full potential both socially and academically.
Take pupils home in your car and use your car to carry out home visits or home tuition (Milage reimbursed).
Working with other team members, agencies and parents/carers in a supportive and professional manner to best meet the needs of individual pupils.
Strong resilience, and strong team player.
Requirements:

Enhanced DBS on the update service
Must drive with access to a car with business insurance (or be willing to add business insurance if successful in your application).
Confident in working with SEND and SEMH children.
