Absolute Law are delighted to be partnered with a well-established Legal 500 law firm who are searching for a Corporate Paralegal to join their friendly team based in Surrey.
The successful candidate will be joining a busy Corporate and Commercial department where they will get involved in a varied caseload including M&A transactions, and other corporate advisory work. Other responsibilities will include:
* Drafting and reviewing corporate contract and documents.
* Preparing and managing corporate filings.
* Conducting buyer and seller due diligence.
* Drafting transaction and ancillary documentation.
* Preparing completion statements.
* Ensure confidentiality and security of all documentation.
* Conducting legal research.
* Apply the law effectively to client problems.
* Ensure clients are onboarded and files are opened and maintained.
* Support business development activities.
Role requirements:-
* Minimum 1 year experience in a corporate and commercial department.
* Good working knowledge of legal research methods.
* Highly organised and able to prioritise tasks.
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
* Able to keep information confidential.
* Self-motivated and want to progress your career.
Hybrid working is offered by the firm.
