Flexographic Print Operator needed in Pershore!
48 hours work per week (there may be additional hours depending upon business requirements), up to £40,000.00/year depending upon experience, for a temporary to permanent contract after successful interview.
Responsibilities and Duties:-
• Setting up and printing high quality designs up to 8 colours onto Flexible plastic substrates and paper
• Maintain a high level of quality, accuracy and productivity to ensure efficient day to day running of wide web flexographic printing press
• Ensure press speeds are optimised, maximising uptime and minimising downtime, continually checking on safe and efficient operation
• Report issues to the Quality department that may affect output throughout the shift
• Maintain good housekeeping on the press and surrounding areas – 5S auditing
• Maintain stock levels of all necessary materials to fulfil the shift efficiently
Requirements:-
• Previous experience of flexographic print – Minimum of 3-5 years
• Knowledge of Lamination and Slitting process
• Experience of mounting process
• Manage and deal with change in a fast moving and demanding environment whilst still maintaining standards set within the business
• Ability to work as a team as well as on own initiative and contribute to the continuous improvement activity
