Senior Building Surveyor

Location: Billericay

I have partnered with a respected consultancy, seeking a Senior or Associate Commercial Building Surveyor to join their expanding team in Billericay. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to take on a leadership role, supporting the Building Surveying Director and delivering a range of high-profile projects.

The Role as a Senior Building Surveyor:

As a Senior or Associate Building Surveyor, you will oversee a variety of projects from inception to completion, working across sectors such as commercial, healthcare, and public. Key responsibilities include managing schedules of dilapidations, PPMs, condition surveys, defect analysis, and contract administration. You will also have the opportunity to prepare specifications, tender documents, and manage contract administration for projects involving offices, warehouses, and public sector buildings.

This role is perfect for someone with a commercial focus, who thrives in a team environment, and is keen to mentor junior team members and help shape the future of the department.

The Senior Building Surveyor I'm Looking For:

MRICS qualification with 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
Proven experience delivering excellent client service.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
