Job Title: Buyer

Area: Norfolk / Suffolk

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (Days) 8.00am till 5pm Mon to Thu – Friday 3pm

Permanent:

Salary: Excellent Salary

Holidays: 30 Days Including Bank Holidays plus 1 day per year up to 35 days

One of our prestigious clients is looking for a Buyer. As a Buyer you will be forming robust and commercially attractive and sustainable partnerships, working closely with the purchasing team in publishing and maintaining accurate Supplier Details, maintaining up to date pricing with appropriate price breaks secured. Supplier KPIs agreed and monitored. Working closely with commercial to understand our client needs and ensure that we achieve margin expectations through good buying and ensuring that service level agreements are fit for purpose so that we can exceed our client expectations.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:

* Buying experience within a manufacturing environment

* CIPS Qualification (desirable)

* Experience of on boarding new suppliers and audits

* Capable of identifying cost saving opportunities and delivering cost down projects

* Be highly analytical and good at problem solving • Proactive, well organised and able to build strong relationships

* High standard on all Microsoft packages

* Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
