Java Backend Developer
Location: Dublin City Centre (5 days onsite)
Contract Duration: 6 months
Daily rates: €(Apply online only) DOE

Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance server-side applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop new features, fix bugs, and enhance the codebase.
Translate product requirements into functional and extensible software.
Build and deploy new applications while maintaining low response times.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Web and Android developers.
Contribute to test plans and ensure high-quality code delivery.
Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in backend Java development with a strong grasp of RESTful APIs and relational databases.
Proficiency with Microservices, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
Experience with Agile Scrum teams and distributed computing.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Desirable Experience:

Knowledge of Java/Kotlin.
Understanding of DevOps principles and supporting scalable systems.
*For this position you need to be based in Dublin and hold a UK/EU passport or Stamp 4
