Company Overview:
We are partnering with a leading civil engineering contractor, renowned for delivering large-scale infrastructure projects. Their latest project in Weston-super-Mare focuses on major highways infrastructure improvements, and we are seeking an experienced Civils Agent to lead and manage this project.

Role Overview:
As a Civils Agent, you will take a leadership role in the delivery of the highways project, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations on-site. You will be responsible for driving progress, managing teams, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and delivering the project on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the site team to deliver the project, ensuring key milestones are achieved.
Manage the day-to-day activities on-site, coordinating between different teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Ensure that all work is delivered to the highest standards of quality and compliance with contract specifications.
Monitor and control project progress, ensuring works are completed within the agreed timescales.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to health and safety standards and regulations.
Work closely with the commercial team to manage budgets, resources, and costs effectively.
Liaise with the client, local authorities, and key stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the project.
Provide accurate project reports and updates to senior management. Qualifications & Experience:

A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, with a focus on highways, roadworks, or other large-scale infrastructure projects.
Proven ability to lead a site team and manage project delivery to tight deadlines.
Strong understanding of highways standards, regulations, and best practices.
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification is essential.
CSCS card and First Aid qualification are highly desirable.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage with teams and stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. What We Offer:
