Langham Recruitment are supporting a leading optics and photonics organisation in their search for a Senior Photonics Design Engineer to join their team in Torquay.

Relocation packages and support are available and there is ongoing support to shape candidates to the full spectrum of the role.

Key Responsibilities:
Design advanced optical and photonic components and systems.
Lead and manage team performance to deliver exceptional results.
Develop and implement product development strategies.
Collaborate on prototype construction and testing.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders through presentations and reports.Requirements:
Degree in Engineering or Physics (PhD preferred).
In-depth knowledge of fibre-optics and photonics technologies.
Proficiency with optical design software such as Zemax.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
Self-motivated with the ability to meet demanding deadlines.
