This position requires the successful candidate to manage procurement and supply chain operations, specifically focusing on Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) for a leading construction business.

Client Details

Our client is a prominent player in the construction services industry with an impressive story to tell.

Description

Lead the sourcing and procurement of MEP related goods and services.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their MEP requirements.
Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers.
Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Implement strategic procurement initiatives to optimise supply chain operations.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Manage and resolve any supply chain related issues.Profile

A successful 'Senior Buyer (MEP)' should have:

A minimum of 5 years of overall experience in procurement and supply chain management.
Able to work in Somerset on a hybrid basis.
Candidate should come with experience dealing with the construction industry. Experience with NEC3/NEC4. Job Offer
